Hertfordshire Contemporary Garden with split levels
This garden in Hertfordshire has a twelve foot difference in height from top to bottom. The brief was to design a modern family garden with plenty of room for entertaining. We divided the steep slope into 3 terraced areas. Rendered block walls separate each level with hardwood decks and natural stone paving blended into the curves of the design.
The middle terrace gets sun for most of the day and is perfect for the family BBQs. On the final level of the garden is the lawn and a secluded seating area. Hidden behind the main rendered wall is the shed and raised vegetable bed.
